Alvin and the Chipmunks, those squeaky-voiced stars of movies, music and TV, are making their stage debut! St. Petersburg’s Mahaffey Theater presents Alvin and the Chipmunks Live On Stage – a musical comedy spectacular Thursday, Oct. 15. It’s got an early showtime – 6:30 p.m. – just for the guys’ young fans.
Accompanied by the lovely Chipettes, the world’s most famous chipmunk trio stars in an interactive, live family entertainment experience. A dynamic mix of music, colorful visuals, magical special effects and immersive interactivity, Alvin and the Chipmunks Live On Stage encourages energetic audience participation.
Based on the characters from the hit Twentieth Century Fox movies, the show will bring the music and excitement of a live rock concert to life as the Chipmunks perform hits by One Direction, Maroon 5, Carly Rae Jepson, Elvis Presley and more.
Join Alvin, Simon and Theodore as they sing and dance their way across America en route to their big charity concert, from an “old school” breakdancing competition in Chicago, to a no-holds-barred food fight in New York City! And with the Chipettes along for the wild ride!
With Alvin creating his typical chaos, things never go quite as planned along the way, from stranding the tour bus in a giant snowstorm, to blowing out all the lights in Las Vegas!
