Macaroni Kid North Pinellas-Trinity had the chance to celebrate Sofia the First as we were recently invited to be included in a movie premeire preview party with Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy. We were thankful for our friends at PHUMC MOPS group that allowed us to host the party with their Moppets! We had a party full of Pricesses and one Prince!

Before we started the movie, we all put on our Princess gowns and tiaras... and got ready to create Butterfly wands! We really enjoyed decorating our butterflies with glitter, gems, and colorful pom poms! Our fun craft idea was provided by Disney Junior and it was so much fun!

Just after we finished our crafts, we took some time to celebrate Princesses and Princes! We each took turns talking about the characteristics that make a "powerful" Princess(and, Prince)! We had fun and have lots of powerful Princesses(and a Prince) in the making...

Then, we enjoyed some delicious party snacks together! There was Princess Popcorn, cupcakes and cookies!

The movie kept everyone's attention! All the children were watching as Sofia and  Amber went on their adventures to save Enchancia.  Sofia and Amber try to break the curse as they end up with a special visit from Rapunzel! And, Rapunzel helps remind Sofia, Amber, and friends what it means to be a Princess- being caring, compassionate & kind! You'll have to watch the movie to see what happens to Princess Ivy!
